Orientation training sessions – Feb. 15 and Aug. 22, 2019

The 2019 orientation training sessions are for qualified rehabilitation consultants (QRC) interns, QRC intern supervisors, newly registered job-placement vendors, rehabilitation providers re-entering the field and registered rehabilitation providers interested in refreshing their skills. CRC/CDMS continuing education units will be available.

Times, dates, location

Training sessions are offered Friday, Feb. 15, and Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019. Both sessions are from 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. at the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry, 443 Lafayette Road N., St. Paul, MN (see parking maps, get directions).

Registration and payment

All participants must register and pay online. Sessions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so early registration is encouraged. The cost includes lunch.

  • Register now – When registering, the "license number" QRCs should enter is their QRC registration number. Vendors and placement staff members from QRC firms should use their firm's four-digit registration number.

The Department of Labor and Industry reserves the right to cancel any session if there are not enough participants registered.

Rehabilitation provider update conference – Sept. 22, 2020

Attendance and participation in the rehabilitation provider update conference session is required of all qualified rehabilitation consultants (QRCs) and QRC interns. Registered job placement vendors must have at least one representative from their organization participate. Non-attendance may be allowed only for emergency situations (Minnesota Rules 5221.1500, subp. 3a). Otherwise, nonparticipation in the provider update may result in professional conduct and accountability discipline.

Notices will be mailed in July 2020. Registration will be done via DLI's website with payment by credit card to attend in-person or via video simulcast using the provider's personal computer and a special access code. Seating at the conference is on a first-come, first-served basis. Continuing education units will be provided for CDC/CDMS.
